I nod seriously. “You are grown up.”
“My mom is at our neighbor’s house a few houses away. I think she’s talking to the cops.”
My heart drops to my stomach. Riley’s house…”
From then on, things go downhill for Katy.
Soon she finds herself suspected of committing a crime.
